Local Granola Brand Partners With Translink Metro For A Breakfast Revolution
Posted on February 13, 2015
The Portaferry granola brand, which is currently taking the world by storm, rewarded active Translink Metro travellers this morning with samples from their new range of granola bars.
Passengers on the morning City Centre Metro Service enjoyed a complimentary Yogurtberry or Fruit Chew bar from the Just Live a Little range as they arrived into Belfast as Translink continues to encourage commuters to make smart travel choices.
Founder of Just Live a Little, Jill Crawford said: “There's a bit of breakfast revolution taking place in Northern Ireland with more and more consumers looking for quick and easy options that they can enjoy 'on the go.' The demand for a breakfast that's both quick and healthy has resulted in a boom for portable foods such as yogurts, fruit and cereal bars so we decided to branch out from our traditional granola cereal range with the Yogurtberry and Fruit Chew bars.
“While it would be nice to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the kitchen table, we understand that, for people on the move, this is not always an option. Now the most important meal of the day can be quicker and more convenient!”
Damien Bannon, Belfast Area Manager for Metro said, “We are delighted to team up with Just Live a Little to encourage passengers to stay healthy on the go. We would also like to remind passengers of the health benefits of walking to and from the bus stop as a great way of working regular exercise into your daily routine and encourage commuters to make smarter travel choices.”
